High quality staff join growing Cardiff physiotherapy team
Gethin Lynch MACP MCSP AACP Physiotherapist Cardiff
   
Health & Sports Physiotherapy are pleased to welcome Gethin Lynch to our team of Chartered Physiotherapists. Gethin brings a wealth of experience having worked within the NHS and private sector.

Gethin now combines his role at the clinic with that of an extended scope practitioner in orthopaedics, with the Cwm Taf Health Board. In addition, Gethin works for the Football Association of Wales as the Wales U17s & U19s Head Physiotherapist.

Gethin has gained post graduate qualifications to include a Post Graduate Diploma in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy and is also a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), a group of Physiotherapists recognised for their standard of excellence in neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Clinic enjoys a touch of summer rugby
Touch Rugby Cardiff Physio team 2012
   
Over the summer months Health & Sports Physiotherapy entered a team into the Touch Rugby Wales tournament held at Hayley Park playing fields, Cardiff. The team representing the clinic contained staff members, colleagues and friends, alongside some rehabilitated clients!!

Following a successful first season, we plan to return in 2013 with a fitter, stronger and faster team!! All friends of the clinic are welcome to join us for a run out......

Angela Rickard Sports Massage Cardiff
   
Health & Sports Physiotherapy boasts a strong team of sports massage therapists working in close collaboration with the physiotherapists at our Cardiff clinic.

Clare Heal is an experienced sports massage and amatsu practitioner, with a background in national trampolining. She is a full member of the Sports Massage Association, Complimentary Therapists Association and Amatsu Therapists Association.

New to the clinic is Angela Rickard. Angela joined the team over the summer having worked with the Welsh Rugby Union national team since the 2007 world Cup. Angela has extensive experience in treating elite athletes, having worked with the NSW Waratahs for several years. She has also worked with New Zealand cricket, as well as the Wales cycling team at the Delhi Commonwealth Games.

Having recently returned from the London 2012 olympic games working with Team GB cycling, Angela combines her work in elite sport with working at our Cardiff clinic.
