Wales National Sevens Physiotherapy Providers

   
Health & Sports Physiotherapy Ltd continues to build their working relationship with the Welsh Rugby Union. Having provided the physiotherapy provision for the Wales U18s during the spring six nations tournament this year, we are now official providers to the Wales National Sevens team.

Over the past four months we have been working with the national sevens squad preparing for the forthcoming IRB sevens series, kicking off on the Gold Coast, Australia in November. The squad now has a 'core' group of professional sevens players who represent Wales on the IRB Sevens Series played in destinations such as Hong Kong, Dubai and Las Vegas.

Notably Wales are the current seven-a-side world champions.

Women’s Health Physiotherapy is an area of Physiotherapy practice that specialises in the management of bladder weakness, pelvic pain or dysfunction and pregnancy related problems. Senior Chartered Physiotherapist, Georgina Bailey is our Women’s Health Physiotherapy specialist based at our Cardiff physiotherapy clinic. Women’s health physiotherapy rehabilitation uses a range of treatment techniques. Pelvic floor exercises typically form a basis of the treatment alongside education on lifestyle changes such as relaxation or altering eating and drinking habits. More specialist approaches may include pelvic muscle stimulation and pilates exercises.
